Drawing and Painting for Pleasure Artists (DAPPAs)

Artists who take classes in drawing and painting under the tuition of Mary Wells at Walkington Methodist Church Hall each week are holding their third Annual Exhibition at the same venue on Saturday 23rd September.

This popular event includes a cake stall and refreshments plus a tombola. All profits from these plus submission fees and a percentage from sales of art are donated to two local Charities. This year we are supporting Herib, (Hull & East Riding Institute for the Blind) as well as Parkinson’s Uk on behalf of one of our previous members, David Standen who is a Parkinson’s sufferer who has painted a wide range of subjects.

Last year we raised over £ 600 which matched the previous year’s donations.
Admission is free and the one day exhibition is open from 10:30am until 5:00pm.
