Over the last few weeks, a computer user, can’t have failed to notice the amount of emails from large organisations, such as Google, down to some of the smaller sites, like this one, requesting that you read updated privacy policies.

This all to do with the fact that  in 2016, the European Commission approved a new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). In short, GDPR states that if a website collects or stores data related to an EU citizen, you must comply with certain regulations which came into force across the EU on 25th May 2018.
