CLERK TO THE COUNCIL (Part-Time)
Salary Range: £7,614 to £8,098
The Parish Council are looking to appoint a Clerk to the Council as a consequence of the decision of the current Clerk to resign.
The job is part-time (an average of 13 hours per week) and involves working from home. Computer skills are a must and Local Authority knowledge would be advantageous. Allowances for home working are available.
The Clerk will act as the Proper Officer to the Council and the Responsible Financial Officer.
Duties include convening, attending and producing minutes of meetings, dealing with all correspondence and keeping accurate accounts, processing payments, preparing annual estimates and financial monitoring reports.
Currently the Parish Council meet once a month but are reviewing whether they will meet in August.
