East Riding Of Yorkshire Council has requested that all parish councils review and update their Public Spaces Protection Orders (PSPO’s). Walkington Parish Council have recently complied and have decided to retain the existing PSCO’s for the village; they are shown below.

These Orders were introduced to help deal with anti-social behaviour particular in areas that may have a detrimental effect on the quality of life for those in the local community.  They impose conditions on the use of that area which apply to everyone and infringements can lead to a £75 fine.
