The Viewfinder Photographic Society was formed in 2007 by enthusiastic local photographers in the village of Skidby. They all had the common aim of enjoying photography and wanting to support each other in the various aspects of the craft.

The Society meets on Monday evenings at Skidby Village Hall, although during the summer months, the members tend to meet out of doors, at various interesting locations around East Yorkshire with the emphasis on taking photographs.

Every year, the Society puts on an exhibition, in the village hall, to display the work of the members. The free exhibition has a growing reputation and is very popular with the general public with attendances rising each year.

Andrew Chandler, of Walkington, is a member of the Society, and you may remember his excellent one man show (Zero to Zero) held in Skidby Village Hall earlier this year.

See the poster below for the details of this year’s photographic exhibition.
